All About Me

Welcome to my Website...

Over the years I have worked in the educational sector. My role was working with people who have complex needs, as well as to engage with young adults who have emotional and social behaviour issues.

In July 2003 I qualified as a Craniosacral Therapist at the College of Craniosacral Therapy (CCST) and over the years I continued with my education to broaden my knowledge on many different subjects in alternative medicine and how it all relate to the body's health and vitality. I have attained  qualification in Anatomy & Physiology, Pathology & Disease, Body Massage, Hatha Yoga, Meditation, Colour Therapy and Counselling Skills in order to serve my clients more fully. With the client's permission this knowledge and experience I have gained , I may use, during a session or for their after care.

I have a desire to help people with their pain and I would like to show them that recovery and healing from pain does not have to mean - no pain no gain. While working together with the client’s and craniosacral therapy, I discovered that nearly most pain and disfunction originate in the soft tissues of the body. Even when the joints get out of alignment, what had caused most of the issue was soft tissue  restriction, otherwise known as tightness. My understanding is that most pain in the body comes down to tightness held within the soft tissues. The human body is entirely connected to the point that the pain you may have in one area might have its origin elsewhere within the body, due to the soft tissue connection. Once the tightness is released, so to is most pain. My specialty is to find and release this tightness when I listen to your body with Craniosacral Therapy.
