Craniosacral Therapy Treatment
I am planning to continue treatment session of Craniosacral Therapy at the clinic and I would like to reassure you that I am continuing to commit to the public health guidance. By taking extra precautions and being vigilant with cross infection control continues to provide treatments for you in a safe environment.
The most important safety measure is hand washing and I therefore I ask that all clients that visit the clinic:

WHAT HAPPENS IN A CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY SESSION?
Craniosacral Therapy session takes place with you lying on a couch fully clothed and care is taken that each touch is comfortable throughout the session. The therapist either sits or stands and makes light contacts to various places on the body, (mainly cranium or sacrum). If you are unable to lie down a treatment can be given in a chair. A Craniosacral Therapy session is a safe and quiet space where you and your body can relax and response to the gentle contacts used by a Craniosacral therapist. Old painful patterns of tension and restrictions can start to dissolve and release which may result in a general feeling of well-being. The treatment can give a comfortable feeling of expansion and softening throughout the body while its aims to promotes a healthy functioning within the body's own natural processes.

There are certain individuals who should not use Craniosacral therapy, these include a history of recent traumatic head injuries which may include cranio bleeding or skull fractures, severe bleeding disorders, cranial diagnosed aneurysm. Depending on your symptoms you may be asked at your first session whether you have consulted your GP or you may be recommended to do so before treatment can take place. Craniosacral therapy does not seek to replace conventional medicine but can work successfully alongside it. With alternative and complementary medicine there is occasionally a period of adjustment, after the treatment when minor discomfort may occur as a result of the healing processes being activated. It is generally short lived and usually seen as a sign of positive natural re-balancing of the body and its systems.

How Many Session Would I Require.
Craniosacral Therapy is tailored to a client's particular needs and state of health. The number of sessions required may vary from person to person. In general, acute conditions often respond well in just a few session however, more chronic issues may need a series of sessions to gain the full benefit. Depending on what health condition you require treatment for, it is advisable to have a couple of sessions to explore whether Craniosacral Therapy is right for you.
How Long Will The Adult Session Last?
The session will last for approximately one hour (treatment 45-50 minutes) with a short consultation at the beginning to discuss any concerns you may have and at the end of the session to discuss anything you may have experienced during the treatment.
£45.00 - treatment last between 45 -60 minutes.
Children Session (under 12 yrs)
First session: 30 minutes treatment & Consultation £45.00
Any further follow up sessions: 30 minutes treatment £35.00
